The system has been preinstalled and reconfigured for the use of Windows® XP. If there is any reason that you may be required to reload Windows® XP, please reinstall the drivers by following these recommended steps:

       

Finish the Windows® XP setup procedures (see Reinstalling Microsoft® Windows® XP).

  • Drivers installing and Configuring:

 

 

    Install Chipset utility:

  1. Click Start at Desktop Windows, and then select Run… Click Browse… At Look in: select the CD/DVD-ROM drive with the Device Drivers and Utilities CD disk inserted. Double click the Drivers folder and then click the Inf_update folder. Select the Infinst_autol icon, click Open and then click OK

  2. Follow the on-screen setup instructions to install the Drivers and Utility.

 

 

 

 

    Install Audio driver:

  1. Click Start at Desktop Windows, and then select Run… Click Browse… At Look in: select the CD/DVD-ROM drive with the Device Drivers and Utilities CD disk inserted. Double click the Drivers folder and then click the Audio folder.

  2. Select the Setup icon. Click Open and then click OK Click Next to continue installation and then click Finish to restart the computer when prompted.

  3. Change Speaker type by clicking Start, select Control Panel and then double click on Sound Speech, and Audio icon. Double click the Sounds and Audio Devices at Sound, Speech, and Audio Properties. Click Advanced at Speakers settings, and then change Speaker Setup to 5.1 Surround Speakers

 

 

 

 

    Install Modem driver:

  1. Click Start at Desktop Windows, and then select Run… Click Browse… At Look in: select the CD/DVD-ROM drive with the Device Drivers and Utilities CD disk inserted. Double click the Drivers folder and then click the Modem folder.

  2. Double click WinXP folder Select the Setup icon. Click Open and then click OK Click Next to continue installation and then click Finish.

 

 

 

 

    Install LAN driver:

  1. Click Start at Desktop Windows, and then select Run… Click Browse… At Look in: select the CD/DVD-ROM drive with the Device Drivers and Utilities CD disk inserted. Double click the Drivers folder and then click the LAN folder.

  2. Select the Setup icon. Click Open and then click OK Click Next to continue installation and then click Finish to restart the computer when prompted.

 

 

 

 

    Install Video driver:

  1. Click Start at Desktop Windows, and then select Run… Click Browse… At Look in: select the CD/DVD-ROM drive with the Device Drivers and Utilities CD disk inserted. Double click the Drivers folder and then click the VGA folder

  2. Select Setup icon. Click Open and then click OK. Click Next to continue the installation, and then click Finish to restart the computer when prompted.

 

 

 

 

    Install Touch Pad Driver:

  1. Click Start at Desktop Windows, and then select Run… Click Browse… At Look in: select the CD/DVD-ROM drive with the Device Drivers and Utilities CD disk inserted. Double click the Drivers folder and then click the TouchPad folder

  2. Double click the Win2K_XP folder and select Setup icon. Click Open and then click OK Click Next to continue installation and then click Finish to restart the computer when prompted.

 

 

 

 

     Install PCMCIA Controller_Card Reader driver:

  1. Click Start at Desktop Windows, and then select Run… Click Browse… At Look in: select the CD/DVD-ROM drive with the Device Drivers and Utilities CD disk inserted. Double click the Drivers folder and then click the PCMCIA_CardReader folder

  2. Select Setup icon. Click Open and then click OK Click Next to continue installation and then click Finish to restart the computer when prompted.

 

 

 

 

    Install HotKey Application:

  1. Click Start at Desktop Windows, and then select Run… Click Browse… At Look in: select the CD/DVD-ROM drive with the Device Drivers and Utilities CD disk inserted. Double click the Drivers folder and then click the Quick-key folder.

  2. Select the CNK001 and click Open. Click OK to search for the driver and click Next to continue the installation. Click Finish and click Yes to restart the computer when prompted.

 

 

 

   

    Install AutoMail Application:

  1. Click Start at Desktop Windows, and then select Run… Click Browse… At Look in: select the CD/DVD-ROM drive with the Device Drivers and Utilities CD disk inserted. Double click the Drivers folder and then click the E-Mail LED folder.

  2. Select the Setup and click Open. Click OK to search for the driver and click Next to continue the installation. Click Finish and click Yes to restart the computer when prompted.

 

 

 

 

    Install PC Camera driver:

  1. Insert the PC Camera Driver CD disk into the optical drive.

  2. The auto run program will pop up. Click Next to continue installation and then click Finish. click Yes to restart the computer when prompted.

 

 

 

 

    Install Wireless LAN driver:

  1. Power on the Wireless LAN module by press the Wireless LAN ON/OFF button (see Figure 1). Make sure the Wireless LAN LED is turn in green (see Figure 2)

  2. Click Start at Desktop Windows, and then select Run… Click Browse… At Look in: select the CD/DVD-ROM drive with the Intel PRO/Wireless Network Connection Software CD disk inserted. Double click the PROW2200 folder and then click the WINXP folder

  3. Select SetupWLD icon. Click Open and then click OK Click Next to continue installation and then click Finish to restart the computer when prompted.
