Who Is MALIBAL?
MALIBAL is an innovative technology company that produces high-performance, custom laptops for developers and content creators; mobile workstations for engineers, scientists, video editors, 3D modelers, and animators; and mobile servers for enterprise applications.
Origin
From humble beginnings, MALIBAL was founded by Matthew Plott, a young entrepreneur who dreamt of creating a technology company unlike any before it, with only $100 shortly after moving to Las Vegas in 2004.
Brand
MALIBAL is a homophone of one of the alternate pronunciations of malleable (ma-lə-bəl) and shares a similar meaning. MALIBAL is an acronym for Modular Adaptable Long-Lasting Innovations for Business And Leisure. The name and acronym were coined by MALIBAL’s founder, Matthew Plott, whose original vision for the company was to create highly customizable products that could be easily configured and adapted to each user’s needs and were designed to be user-upgradeable, user-serviceable, and last a long time.
Logo
MALIBAL’s emblem, logo, and wordmark were designed by founder Matthew Plott. There are several design elements that adhere to the Golden Ratio. The MALIBAL brand color is gold. The color was chosen because gold is the most malleable element in existence.
Trademark
MALIBAL is a trademark of MALIBAL, LLC. It can only ever be displayed in all caps, e.g., MALIBAL, never as Malibal.
Mission
To create highly innovative, modular products that can be adapted to any use case and built with a level of craftsmanship and user-serviceability that will allow them to be used for a long time.
Vision
To produce the most innovative products and greatest user experience of all time.
